The Role

Prestolee Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Teaching Assistant Level 3 based at Mesne Lea Primary School, Walkden Road, Walkden, Manchester, M28 7FG. The ideal candidate will have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant within an SEND setting and with pupils with speech and language difficulties. They will also have a Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification.

We are looking for a person who has:

Proven outstanding experience/practice as a Teaching Assistant Level 3
Proven experience in SEN and working with pupils with speech and language difficulties
Speech and Language qualification is desirable but not essential
Experience of teaching groups of pupils at primary level
Excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
Excellent skills in team working
Excellent skills in working with children
Commitment, flexibility and enthusiasm
A desire for career development
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
