The Role

Prestolee Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our team at Bowness Primary School. The ideal candidate will have demonstratable experience working as a Teaching Assistant, have knowledge and experience in SEN and the intimate care needs of children with SEN. They will also hold a relevant Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification.

About You

 We are looking for a person who has: 

  • Proven outstanding experience/teaching practice as a Teaching Assistant Level 2
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills 
  • Excellent skills in team working 
  • Excellent skills in working with children, particularly with SEN requirements
  • Experience in PMLD, moving/handling and intimate care needs of children with SEN 
  • Commitment, flexibility, and enthusiasm 
  • A desire for career development 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
