The Role

Prestolee Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Early Years Lead and Classroom Teacher to join our team at Waterloo Primary School. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a dedication to helping pupils learn and grow in an innovative and enthusiastic way.

About You

We are looking for a person who has: 

  • Proven track record of outstanding teaching practice, particularly within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Experience across a range of Key Stages, with a strong understanding of Early Years pedagogy and child development
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills, with the ability to model and support high standards in these areas
  • A strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing positively to the wider school community
  • A passion for working with young children, with excellent classroom management and the ability to engage and inspire learners
  • High levels of commitment, flexibility, and enthusiasm in all aspects of school life
  • A clear desire for ongoing professional growth and career development
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
