The Role

Prestolee Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our team at Waterloo Primary School, specialising in the support of pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Teaching Assistant Level 3, experience working with children with SEMH needs and hold a Teaching Assistant Level 3 qualification.

About You

We are looking for a person who has: 

  • Proven outstanding experience as a Teaching Assistant Level 3
  • Experience of teaching groups of pupils at primary level
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills 
  • Excellent skills in team working 
  • Excellent skills in working with children 
  • Commitment, flexibility, and enthusiasm 
  • A desire for career development 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
